For those who are familiar with the Underground Beatz' Dub/Reggae/DnB/Dubstep sessions, you may have heard of the up and coming event on the 21st of march?... no?... Well! Ears open!

Underground Beatz is hosting yet another event at the ARC MÚSICOS in Faro, 21st of March. I-RICK DJ and his Dub-Reggae movement, SIRAIVA blastin' the sounds of Drum & Bass and NUNO FORTE smashing it with a D-D-D-DUBSTEP... Yes, you heard me, DUBSTEP And Drum & Bass Set... ...You think that's it? You do don't you, HA!. Check this... We are going to have specialist VJ, F_ACTORVISUALS in operation, projecting some of the most Psychedelic images to add to an already SICK ambiance! But wait... There's more. For those who know the ARC MÚSICOS and were there last time know that the Underground Beatz session was performed upstairs... This time, the whole floor downstairs is being used to accommodate the growing amount of followers! Along with this, i have word of a Larger and Phatter sound system being used (I think they are actually trying to destroy the building). Again, I will be going along side my Southern Massive to rep' it Big! We 'pon di move!

Freshslap Productions is presenting our own Drum & Bass night at São Lorenço School at the end of the month, Bringing you the new amatuer DJs this school has managed to churn out. The line-up will include Me and Jorge Figuera as Soulninjas, Robert Belcher as the Cockney Yout' and introducing Antonis Ikosipentakis as D-rEX (Previously Mr. Gash, Someone needs to update the POSTER... Jorge...). This will be Off the hook we assure Anyone who goes. We promise to please!

Fresh's Wish

Lately, there has being much contemplation on what piece equipment i should buy in order to begin my quest of becoming SUPERstar Dj... Last night this Torment of the mind was ceased to be. I party was in session last night to which I was invited and Upon arrival, I sensed DJ equipment near by. To my delight, I discovered that a Numark CD Mix 2 was in operation, on which i played untill.... we ran out of descent tunes...

It's the perfect piece to begin with. Cheap, quality and adequate.

Well well Well! Just chillin' at school, as you do, not doing much at the moment, just minding my own business, but i would like to just pull out 10 random notes. As follows:

1) Jorge is a Jankrow.
2) ...his DnB set has NIL on mine.
3) Don't even know why we are arguing since we ARE A DUO!!!
4) Currently listening to The Pharcyde - Bizzare Ride II...
5) I am contemplating whether to save for A) a Native Instruments Audio DJ 4... or 8.
6) ...Or B) The Hercules DJ Console RMX.
7) ...ooooooor a BMX.
8) im currently waiting approval for an Advertisment account for this website.
9) I am catching up to jorge "Hits-wise" dangerously fast!

They did it ONCE AGAIN!! The Underground Beatz selection this time around was off - the - hook... You could not build a roof strong enough to stop these DJ's from Rippin' it down!
Starfish Soundsystem delivering some Banging beats, I-Rick DJ giving us some of the Sickest Reggae and Dub about and Siraiva blastin' one of the Nastiest DnB sets that i personally have ever seen. Major success for that night!

You think you missed out?... well... you did, But it's not the end of the world...

21st of March, Nuno Forte will be making an appearance with a DUBSTEP/DnB set, Which we are ALL looking forward too. I'm there, outside, waiting, right now...

The Drum & Bass scene in the Algarve has recently experienced a huge climb, placing it well and firmly on the map after being almost unheard of a couple of years ago. Now, in 2009, there has been one event so far, with a second destroying the roof Faro's Arc Musicos tonight! Delivering the likes of Algarve's SIR AIVA and I-RICK DJ, with the additional appearance of the UK's STARFISH SOUNDSYSTEM Feat. D.JANE, pumpin a delicious variety of Dub, D&B, Jungle and Reggae.

I'll be going, representing the Southern Massive - and you'd best be going too...
